Sample Card - Flower

Flower Card
See how using clear embossing powder and adding a background using our beautiufl flourish stamps adds elegance to this card.
Step by step
| 1 | Start with a regular sized piece of cardstock folded into a card, and stamp the swirled images in the upper right hand corner with a tone on tone effect. |
| 2 | Cut a strip of coordinating patterned paper and back with a contrasting color behind it. Adhere to the left hand side of the card. |
| 3 | Stamp the flower image using a watermark stamp pad onto the red cardstock (or color of choice), add your clear embossing powder and apply heat. |
| 4 | Cut out and adhere with dimensional foam adhesive to create a 3/D effect. Adhere flower to a square (with contrasting color) that's slightly larger than the flower. |
| 5 | Cut a small slit (size of the width of ribbon) with an exacto knife directly onto the left hand fold of card. Slide ribbon all the way thru and attach to front of card with adhesive. This will be covered up with the flower image. |
| 6 | Attach the flower squared image over the top of the ribbon. |
| 7 | Stamp a small flowered image, cut out and adhere with more dimensional adhesive and add a brad in the center. |
| 8 | To finish off the card and add a little texture, pierce around the square either in the corners (as shown) or all around, with a piercing tool (or even a tack!) |
