Sample Thank You Card
Thank You Birdi Card
Elegant yet easy to make, this beautiful card was created using stamps from the Birdi mini See-D’s set.
Create one in the soft colors as shown, or pick your own color palette. This design, minus the sentiment, also could be adapted to frame photos on a scrapbook page, or you can stamp the botanical design on a mat within a photo frame and embellish the outside of the frame with the soaring stamped bird.
Step by step
| 1 | Trim dark brown cardstock to desired size and fold in half from top to create a horizontal card. |
| 2 | Cut a thin strip of blue cardstock and adhere to right edge of dark brown card front. |
| 3 | Adhere patterned paper onto the dark brown card front, flush against the blue strip. |
| 4 | Stamp bird and frame images on natural white Cardstock. Trim bird image out and rip around edges of frame image. |
| 5 | Cut about 1/3 off of the right side of the frame image and adhere to front of card with sewing machine. |
| 6 | Adhere bird image to top left edge of frame image. |
| 7 | Stamp "thank you" onto green cardstock and trim around greeting. Trim another piece of blue cardstock slightly larger than green cardstock and mount together. |
| 8 | Add hardware ring to left edge of thank you and tie ribbon onto it. |
